SWAG

An acronym I use for getting students to recognize and identify sophisticated vocabulary.  Whenever we read printed out stories/nonfiction/student writing, we highlight for SWAG.

So far, so good! My kids love looking for it, using highlighters, and get even more excited if I tell them their writing has SWAG! J
